Peptide calculator
Enter the vial size, the water you add and the amount you want. The calculator gives the concentration and the units to draw on a U-100 insulin syringe. It runs in your browser and stores nothing.
Also available as a free Chrome extension, so the calculator is one click away in your toolbar.
How the math works
Concentration is the milligrams in the vial divided by the millilitres of water: mg/mL = vial mg ÷ water mL. One unit on a U-100 syringe is 0.01 mL, so each unit holds mg/mL × 10 micrograms. To find the units for an amount, divide the amount in milligrams by the concentration and multiply by 100: units = (amount mg ÷ mg/mL) × 100.
Example: 10 mg mixed with 2 mL of water is 5 mg/mL, so each unit holds 50 mcg and 250 mcg is 5 units.
